Community Standards

At Roblox, our mission is to connect a billion people with optimism and civility. We’re working hard to build a community that feels safe and welcoming for everyone—a place where you can be yourself, make positive connections, and let your creativity run wild. Our Community Standards are here to make sure everyone feels at home and protected while they explore. For our Youth Guide to Community Standards, see here.

Our community is always growing and changing so we’re constantly learning, and that means our Standards might change too. We will always ask everyone to treat each other with kindness and respect—just like you would in person. If we find users or content that are breaking these rules, we’ll take action against that content and the accounts of those who created it. In cases where someone’s safety is at risk offline, we’ll work closely with the relevant authorities to keep everyone safe.

We know we’re not perfect, and even with all our best efforts, sometimes things slip through the cracks. If you ever see something that you think might violate these rules or otherwise makes you feel unsafe, please use our 'Report Abuse' tool to let us know. We’re in this together, and your voice helps us keep this a space we can all be proud of. If you want to dive into the more formal legal side of things, our Terms of Use are always there for you to read.
